Audience
Pet parents, vets, groomers, trainers and boarding services
The Problem
Pet owners looking for a vet, groomer, trainer, or boarding service usually fall back on general search and word of mouth, neither of which handles location, availability, or trust well. Service providers, meanwhile, have no dedicated place to be found.
FurryPari was built to bring both sides into one product: a community where owners connect, and a structured directory where local services are discoverable across more than one country.
What We Built
- pet owner profiles and community features
- service provider listings with categories
- location-aware search across multiple countries
- discovery of vets, groomers, trainers, and boarding
- content and media handling for user posts
- responsive mobile-first experience
Relevant Service Lanes
A directory is easy. A marketplace that works across countries, with community content alongside it, needs real thought about data modelling, search, and moderation.
Why This Was More Than a Directory
A directory is easy. A marketplace that works across countries, with community content alongside it, needs real thought about data modelling, search, and moderation.
modelling services and locations so search works across country boundaries
balancing a social product against a directory product in one interface
keeping listing quality high without heavy manual moderation
handling user-generated media at reasonable cost
designing for mobile-first use where most pet owners actually are
Technology Stack
